51The second phase of the first school term in government and government-approved schools will conclude today (10), the The Education Ministry said.
The school vacation period will be in effect from today until April 19, coinciding with the Sinhala and Tamil New Year celebrations.
Accordingly, the second school term is scheduled to commence on Monday, April 20, and will continue until Friday, July 24, the Ministry further stated.
