Janashakthi Life’s ‘Nidahas Adahas’ art competition attracts over 20,000 entries from children across the country
Rewards 200 Children excelling in Art
Janashakthi Life, a subsidiary of JXG (Janashakthi Group), through its ‘Nidahas Adahas’ children’s art competition, has sparked the imagination of young artists across Sri Lanka, attracting more than 20,000 submissions this year. The top 100 art pieces across two age categoris were displayed at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, turning the venue into a vibrant gallery of youth expression. First, second and third place winners in each category received cash prizes, while all 200 finalists were recognised with gifts and vouchers in appreciation of their talent and effort.
A distinguished panel of judges, Kalapathi, Kalabooshana Mr. Pulasti Ediriveera, Ms. Prasadani Kumari, and Mr. Prageeth Rathnayake oversaw a rigorous selection process, recognising the outstanding talent that is emerging from across the island. In addition to the exhibition, Janashakthi Life hosted a complimentary art workshop designed to nurture learning and skill development among young participants.
