Colombo Masters in the lead in CVC Veterans Cricket

The much anticipated Ceylon Veterans Cricket (CVC) T/20 (40 plus) Veterans Cricket league commenced on the 23rd of November, delivering thrilling Cricket action and exceptional performances from all participating teams.

One of the standard features of this tournament is its inclusion of a team from Jaffna and Trincomalee.

The competion is heating up as teams battle for supremacy in their respective groups. In group “A” Colombo Masters are leading with Chilaw Legends close on their heels in second place. Trinco Super Forty Cricket Club in third place and AA Super Kings (Jaffna) in fourth place. Vinoj from Trinco Super forty Cricket Club and Thushara Sampath from Chilaw Legends demonstrated their brilliance with the ball claiming 5 wickets for 12 runs and Thushara Sampath claiming 9 wickets for 4 runs against AA Super Kings (Jaffna)
