Acting Foreign Minister Arun Hemachandra participated in the EU–Sri Lanka Business Roundtable on 27 May, focusing on Sri Lanka’s role as a regional maritime and logistics hub.
He stated that Sri Lanka aims to strengthen cooperation with the European Union through trade expansion,
sustainable investment, port modernisation, digital connectivity, and green logistics initiatives.
Hemachandra also noted that Sri Lanka is committed to building a competitive and sustainable economy with international partners.
