Vesak Dansal registration made mandatory – Health DG

Director General of Health Services Asela Gunawardena stated that registration of dansals organised for the Vesak festival has been made mandatory.

Organisers have been instructed to register through the nearest health office.

The Health Ministry noted that the programme will help authorities provide guidelines on safe food preparation for the public.

The registration process for Vesak dansals commenced on 04 May.
