The Sri Lankan rupee continued its decline against the US dollar across commercial banks today (31), with the selling rate holding steady at Rs. 318.
At People’s Bank, the buying rate rose from Rs. 311.37 to Rs. 311.87, while the selling rate increased from Rs. 318.24 to Rs. 318.75.
NDB Bank reported a similar trend, with the buying rate moving from Rs. 311.75 to Rs. 312.25, and the selling rate climbing from Rs. 318.25 to Rs. 318.75.
At Seylan Bank, the US dollar buying rate rose from Rs. 311.40 to Rs. 312, while the selling rate edged slightly from Rs. 317.50 to Rs. 317.25.
