Four centuries recorded in Hambantota

Dambulla secured a commanding 187-run victory over Galle (D/L method) in their National Super League (NSL) limited-overs cricket fixture held at R. Premadasa Stadium yesterday.

Dambulla posted a total of 303 for 9 in 48.4 overs, with opener Lasith Croospulle scoring a brilliant 110. Galle was set a revised target of 297 but was bowled out for just 108 in 23.5 overs.

Meanwhile, Colombo edged past Kandy by 5 runs in a high-scoring thriller at Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium. Colombo scored 325, with two centuries from Nipun Dhananjaya (116) and Nuwanidu Fernando (164). Kandy, chasing 326, fell short at 320 in 49.5 overs, despite centuries from Ahan Wickramasinghe (100) and Sahan Arachchige (120).
