ASN Malgolla Tea Factory receives ISO 22000:2018, GMP and HACCP Certification

ASN Malgolla Tea Factory (MF 0077), located in Pitithalawa, Dolosbage, has reached a significant milestone in its journey towards excellence in food safety management.

The factory has completed the certification audit for ISO 22000:2018, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) under the scope of ‘Manufacturing of Black Tea’.

The Certification audit was carried out by a competent team from CeyCert (Private) Limited, an accredited certification body in Sri Lanka. The audit team evaluated ASN Malgolla Tea Factory’s processes, ensuring that they met the rigorous requirements of international standards for food safety management systems.

Following the completion of the post-audit activities, CEYCERT granted ASN Malgolla Tea Factory the ISO 22000:2018, GMP and HACCP Certificates. This triple certification demonstrates the factory’s commitment to producing safe, high-quality black tea while adhering to best practices in manufacturing and risk management Ceycert (Private) Limited remains committed to supporting organisations in their pursuit of excellence, providing expert guidance and certification services to help them achieve and maintain the highest standards in their respective industries.
