Amana Takaful celebrates 25th anniversary

Amana Takaful Insurance PLC, one of Sri Lanka’s leading insurance providers, marked its 25th anniversary with a celebration at Mandarina Colombo on September 25.

The event featured a fireside chat with Founder and Chairman, Osman Kassim, moderated by Gehan Rajapakse, CEO of Amana Takaful (Life).

In a special effort to unite the company, employees from branches across Sri Lanka were given the opportunity to join the event virtually, allowing them to experience the engaging discussions and be part of this milestone celebration.

Kassim reflected on the company’s growth and future strategies, highlighting its commitment to digital transformation, innovation, and customer-centric services. “When we started 25 years ago, our goal was to introduce a new approach to protection in Sri Lanka,” he said.

He further expressed optimism for the future: “Our journey is built on trust, and we will continue to drive forward with new ideas and customer-focused solutions.”

Amana Takaful has expanded its product portfolio over the years, providing life insurance along with general insurance solutions, including motor, medical, travel, business and marine coverage.
