Abbotsleigh tea estate produced and sold the highest quantity of 2,029,990 Kgs for the year 2024.This is the highest quantity sold by a factory which is operating in the High / Medium category.

Abbotsleigh estate is the prime property of Hatton Plantations PLC managed by Menaka Athukorala, Managing Director and the overall factory operations are spearheaded by Suranga Dela, Deputy General Manager. This Estate sells its production of prime CTC high grown teas, under the selling mark of “Florence” which is well known and established among local and international consumers.
