The U.S. Embassy in Sri Lanka has issued a warning to foreign nationals planning to travel to the United States.
The notice emphasises that misuse of taxpayer-funded public benefits can lead to severe legal and immigration consequences.
According to the embassy, individuals found to be improperly accessing or misusing these benefits could face immediate revocation of their visas.
Furthermore, such actions may result in a permanent ineligibility for obtaining future U.S. visas.
