Sysco LABS delivered an outstanding performance at the President’s Challenge Trophy – Mercantile Swimming Championship 2025, held recently at the Thurstan College Swimming Pool Complex, securing a total of seven medals – four Gold, one Silver, and two Bronze. Competing against 31 organizations, Sysco LABS placed 10th overall and ranked 1st among IT companies, a remarkable achievement for the team.
Top performers included Charya Dharmadasa, who won three Gold medals in the 25m Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Freestyle (Championship events); Isuru Walpita Gamage, who claimed Gold in the 25m Butterfly (Novices); Chathura Lakmal Thalapalage, who earned Silver in the 25m Freestyle and Bronze in the 25m Breaststroke (Novices); and Upeksha Fernando, who secured Bronze in the 100m Individual Medley (Novices).
