St. Patrick’s have the edge over Jaffna College

Jaffna College, Vaddukkoddai will meet St. Patrick’s College Jaffna in their 108th “Battle of the Golds in Northern” annual cricket encounter at St. Patrick’s College grounds from March 6 to March 8.

The Battle of the North is the second oldest playing big match in the Jaffna peninsula. S. Mathusan will captain the Jaffna College, Vaddukkoddai team and  P. Mathushan will be the skipper of St. Patrick’s College Jaffna. St. Patrick’s College Jaffna lead with 35 wins and Jaffna College recorded only 16 wins in the series so far.
