SriLankan upgraded to safely rating 7 Star after review

Airline Ratings a global platform for comparing and reviewing airlines had upgraded SriLankan Airlines safely rating to 7 Star yesterday after review in the airlines safety procedures.

Recently the Airline Ratings.com, downgraded Sri Lankan’s safety rating from seven to six stars after an incident involving SriLankan flight from Melbourne to Colombo due to a incident involving a pilot on Airbus A330 flight.

However, the flight landed in Sri Lanka safely despite disagreement between pilots . Subsequently airline said that the captain has been grounded while Sri Lanka’s Civil Aviation Authority opened an investigation. Later the airline pilot who was involved in the incident tendered his resignation.

The Airline Rating.com after considering several factors have once again reinstated SriLankan airline status from six back to seven star.
