Goldsmiths, University of London Partners with BCAS Campus

Goldsmiths, University of London, one of the UK's most respected universities, has partnered with BCAS Campus to bring a world-class suite of British degree programmes to Sri Lanka.

Ranked among the top 10 universities in London (Complete University Guide 2027), and this year celebrating its 120th year as a University, Goldsmiths is a college of the University of London, bringing with it a depth of academic tradition and global recognition that few universities can match.

For Sri Lankan students, this affiliation opens direct access to globally recognised undergraduate programmes in Computer Science, Business Management, Psychology and Law, delivered locally through BCAS Campus.

The agreement was signed on 3rd June 2026 at the Goldsmiths campus in London, in the presence of senior leadership from both institutions, including Interim Vice-Chancellor Professor David Oswell and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Annabel Kiernan from Goldsmiths, and Chairman Mr. Rajendra Theagarajah and CEO Mr. Teresh Amaratunga from BCAS Campus.

Professor David Oswell, Interim Vice-Chancellor of Goldsmiths, said: “We are delighted to formalise this partnership with BCAS. This agreement reflects a shared commitment to academic quality, student success, and widening access to international education. We look forward to supporting students in Sri Lanka to achieve Goldsmiths degrees and to building a strong and sustainable partnership over the coming years.”

BCAS Campus brings over 27 years of experience in Sri Lanka's higher education sector, with campuses in Colombo, Kandy, Jaffna, and Kalmunai, and a long track record of delivering internationally affiliated qualifications to students across the country.

Commenting on this new partnership CEO of BCAS Campus Mr. Teresh Amaratunga stated, "This is a proud moment for everyone at BCAS Campus, and more importantly for the Sri Lankan students who have always aspired to a world-class British qualification without having to leave home. We are confident that the launch of this suite of programmes will position Sri Lankan students to make their mark on the global stage.”

Enrolments are currently underway for the inaugural batch commencing in September 2026.
