Currency: LKR depreciates further against dollar

The Sri Lankan Rupee has weakened further against the US Dollar yesterday (4), with several commercial banks quoting the dollar selling rate between Rs 339.50 and Rs 340.50.

Meanwhile, according to yesterday’s daily exchange rates issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL), the selling rate of the dollar was recorded at Rs 340.25, while the buying rate was at Rs 330.10.
