Sri Lanka records third successive win

Sri Lanka recorded their thirdsuccessive win of the ongoing BNP World Qualifier Wheelchair Tennis tournament when they defeated Pakistan 3-0 at the SLTA tennis courts in Greenpath Colombo.

Wijesiri Wijesirige and Suresh Ranaweera won the two singles events defeating Muhammad Firas and Fida Hussain by two sets to nil and then partnered together to overcome the Pakistan pair also by two sets to nil.

Sri Lanka with three wins under their belt having won earlier against India and Taipei will now play the deciding match against Korea and the winning team will qualify to play in the BNP World Wheelchair Tennis Championship.
