SLT-MOBITEL triumphs with Silver at SAFA Best Presented Annual Report Awards

SLT-MOBITEL, the National ICT Solutions Provider, was honoured with the Silver Award at the SAFA Best Presented Annual Report Awards, Integrated Reporting Awards, and SAARC Anniversary Awards for Corporate Governance Disclosures 2024, in the Communication & Information Technology category. The official awards ceremony took place in Islamabad, Pakistan. 

The award was conferred by the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) following rigorous evaluations conducted by SAFA’s Committee for Improvement in Transparency, Accountability, and Governance of the South Asian Federation of Accountants, in recognition of SLT-MOBITEL’s Annual Report for the financial year of 2024. Thushara Amaranath, Manager Marketing, and Gayathrika Sachinthani, Accountant - Financial Accounting & Taxation, were present to accept the award on behalf of SLT-MOBITEL.

The achievement highlights SLT-MOBITEL’s excellence in financial and corporate governance reporting throughout South Asia, competing against leading organizations from eight nations including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

The SAFA Best Presented Annual Report Awards assess published annual reports submitted by leading entities in South Asia, with a focus on clarity, integrity, and governance standards, in financial reporting, integrated reporting, and corporate governance disclosures.

The recognition highlights SLT-MOBITEL’s commitment to transparency and integrity in corporate reporting. Aligned with global best practices in governance and accountability, the accolade underscores the company’s dedication to high-quality integrated reporting and disclosures that strengthen stakeholder trust and operational resilience. As a regionally respected benchmark, it further affirms SLT-MOBITEL’s focus on accountability and integrity in corporate disclosures.
