Russel’s marks 38th anniversary by honouring long-serving employees

Russel’s Group celebrated its 38th anniversary with a special commemorative event attended by Rev. Father Prasad from Bishop House, along with several distinguished guests, marking another significant milestone in the company’s journey of service and excellence. The highlight of the celebration was the recognition of long-serving employees who have dedicated many years of service to the organisation. This year’s main focus was to honour the staff member who has completed the longest period of service with Russel’s, reflecting the company’s appreciation for loyalty, commitment, and dedication. Ms. Shairmila Fernando, who has made a tremendous contribution to Russel’s over the past 33 years, was specially recognised during the event for her exceptional service and unwavering dedication. In appreciation of her long-standing contribution, she was awarded a one-day full-board holiday package for her family of three at the Horana Plantation Bungalow.
