Rootcode Secures Government Collaboration in Europe with the City of Prague

Rootcode, a global software product engineering company, announced another European government project. Rootcode will partner with the City of Prague, Czech Republic, to develop and launch an AI-driven citizen engagement platform. Designed to support City Authorities, the solution will assist the people of Prague in reporting citywide issues and help authorities prioritise and resolve them more efficiently.

The Smart City Index ranked Prague 15th among the world’s smartest cities in 2024.Prague showcases the Czech Republic’s progressive stance on digital innovation and AI adoption. As the Czech Republic continues progressing in technology and AI governance initiatives, Prague is playing a key role in implementing cutting-edge solutions to enhance living standards and set new benchmarks in citizen engagement.

The solution streamlines the identification, routing, and resolution of city-related issues.Leveraging AI, the platform automatically classifies and directs citizen-reported matters to the appropriate department, eliminating the need for email exchanges. The project is part of CommuniCity, a European Union-funded initiative focused on citizen-centric innovation. Rootcode will build this solution with the City of Prague's OICT organisation.
