Project Coast 5.0 by AIESEC in NSBM: Youth for Climate Action and Coastal Care

Project Coast 5.0, organized by AIESEC in NSBM, was successfully held on
Saturday, 9th May 2026 as a dynamic youth-led initiative that brought together
university students and young changemakers for an engaging and impactful
experience aligned with Sustainable Development Goals 13 (Climate Action) and 14 (Life Below Water).
The event featured a vibrant mix of activities including a large-scale beach cleanup, interactive games, and awareness sessions. Participants worked side by side to restore the coastline, learning how individual responsibility and collective action can protect marine ecosystems and strengthen community resilience.
The program emphasized how environmental responsibility, teamwork, and sustainable practices contribute to long-term ecological balance and a healthier future for all.
Project Coast 5.0 also hosted a panel discussion with an environmental advocate
who shared valuable insights on climate responsibility, sustainable practices, and the importance of youth-driven activism.
This perspective highlighted the strong connection between environmental care and social progress, inspiring participants to continue their journey as responsible global citizens.
The success of Project Coast 5.0 was made possible through the active participation of the delegates, whose enthusiasm and commitment brought energy and meaning to every activity.
Their dedication to coastal care and climate action stands as a testament to the power of youth in shaping a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable tomorrow.
