26Sri Lanka’s lowest temperature today (17) was recorded in Nuwara Eliya at 8.0°C, the Department of Meteorology said.
Bandarawela reported 11.6°C, Badulla 14.4°C, and Polonnaruwa 19.4°C.
Dry weather is expected in many parts of the island, with possible frost in some areas of the Nuwara Eliya District during early morning hours.
Misty conditions are likely in several provinces including Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, North-Western, North-Central and Uva, as well as in Galle and Matara.
