Inextricable Group Appoints Jayantha Peiris as SVP Digital and Transformation

Strengthening Global Apparel Industry Expertise

Inextricable Group, a distinguished British boutique IT consultancy specialising in ERP and data solutions, has announced a landmark leadership appointment set to redefine digital transformation across the global apparel and manufacturing sectors. Jayantha Peiris, a highly respected industry leader with over three decades of transformative experience at MAS Holdings, the global apparel and textile manufacturing powerhouse, joins the firm as Senior Vice President, Digital and Transformation.

This strategic appointment brings together an exceptional combination of expertise, pairing Peiris with Joachim Hensch, former Managing Director of Hugo Boss Textile Industries. Together, they represent a rare convergence of leadership experience from both global apparel manufacturing and luxury designer brand environments, positioning Inextricable Group to deliver a new standard of digital and operational excellence to its clients.

Jayantha Peiris’s career is defined by his significant contribution to the evolution of MAS Holdings into a globally recognised manufacturing leader. Over a 30-year tenure, he held senior roles across finance, operations, planning, manufacturing, marketing, and enterprise technology. As Chief Information Officer, he led the development of MAS Holdings’ digital architecture, driving major ERP modernisation initiatives and implementing Robotic Process Automation to enhance operational efficiency and enable strategic growth. His deep understanding of the end-to-end apparel value chain, from supply chain coordination and raw material sourcing to manufacturing and global distribution, provides a powerful foundation for addressing the industry's complex challenges today. His approach aligns closely with Inextricable Group’s philosophy of strengthening systems, data foundations, and operational processes to ensure technology delivers measurable business outcomes.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO Sanjay Chauhan stated, "Jayantha’s arrival marks a transformative moment for Inextricable Group and, more importantly, for our clients in the manufacturing and apparel sectors. His unparalleled track record at MAS Holdings, where he consistently translated complex digital strategies into tangible business performance, embodies our core belief: that technology should never lead business strategy, but rather reflect and enable it. This appointment reinforces our commitment to delivering real ROI and competitive advantage, not just another IT project."

The collaboration between Peiris and Joachim Hensch is expected to unlock significant value for clients. While Peiris brings a comprehensive perspective on digital strategy and ERP transformation from a global manufacturing standpoint, Hensch contributes deep expertise in garment manufacturing, technology, and innovation, developed during his tenure at Hugo Boss Textile Industries. Widely recognised for his work in advancing Industry 4.0, Hensch has been instrumental in transforming traditional production environments into intelligent, interconnected manufacturing ecosystems. His experience in integrating advanced technologies and driving innovation complements Peiris’s strategic leadership in digital transformation.

Hensch commented that the apparel industry is at a pivotal moment, requiring not only technological adoption but also strategic foresight to navigate increasing complexity. He emphasised that the combined experience within Inextricable Group offers clients a unique advantage, bringing practical, executive-level insight to help organisations build resilient, agile, and future-ready operations capable of delivering on the promise of Industry 4.0.

The combined leadership of Peiris and Hensch signals a significant step forward for the apparel industry, enabling organisations to enhance supply chain visibility and efficiency through advanced ERP and data governance, accelerate digital adoption with technologies such as AI-driven analytics and automation, and integrate more sustainable and transparent manufacturing practices. Their expertise also supports improved product lifecycle management, enabling faster response to market demands, while establishing agile, data-driven foundations for long-term growth.

Jayantha Peiris expressed enthusiasm about joining Inextricable Group, highlighting the organisation’s clear understanding that technology must serve as an enabler of business strategy. He noted that his career has focused on driving operational performance through strategic technology adoption, and he sees strong potential to deliver a similar impact for clients. He also highlighted the opportunity to collaborate with Joachim Hensch and the wider team as a key factor in advancing the firm’s vision of operational excellence and digital maturity.

This appointment further strengthens Inextricable Group’s focus on delivering measurable business outcomes. The firm’s commitment to addressing real operational challenges, including inconsistent master data, ERP implementation delays, and fragmented enterprise systems, is expected to be significantly enhanced by Peiris’s industry expertise.
