HNB with Abans Auto offers leasing for Hyundai buyers

HNB PLC has entered into a strategic leasing partnership with Abans Auto (Pvt.) Ltd, the authorised distributor for Hyundai vehicles in Sri Lanka, to deliver vehicle leasing solutions that are rewarding.

The collaboration was formalised at a signing ceremony attended by the senior representatives from both organisations, including HNB Head of Retail Banking Kanchana Karunagama and Abans Auto Deputy General Manager Rajitha Ranasinghe. The partnership allows the prospective Hyundai owners to pursue vehicle ownership with ease and assurance, backed by innovative leasing offerings that accommodate a wide range of customer needs.

“This partnership comes at an opportune time, with Sri Lanka’s automotive market showing encouraging signs of growth with anticipated relaxation of the vehicle import ban. It aligns with our mission to support customers with leasing solutions that adapt to their needs, enabling them to invest in reliable vehicles with greater financial confidence,” emphasised Karunagama.

Benefits for HNB customers include a value-added credit card with the first year’s annual fee waived, providing additional financial flexibility and exclusive perks. The customers will also benefit from discounted vehicle insurance premiums offered through HNB General Insurance, ensuring affordable coverage for their vehicles. Furthermore, HNB General Insurance extends a Rs.4.5 million life insurance cover for HNB leasing customers, safeguarding their loved ones in case of accidental death. In the event of a natural death, HNB Assurance will provide Rs.600,000 in coverage, offering additional financial security and peace of mind for vehicle owners and their families.

“Through HNB’s leasing options and our dedicated discounts and services, we aim to make vehicle ownership an accessible and rewarding experience for all,” said Ranasinghe.
