  • 354% increase in earnings per share
  • 275% growth in net profit
  • 20% increase in gross profit

Exterminators PLC has reported a strong financial turnaround for FY 2025–26, driven by accelerated digitalisation, artificial intelligence integration, and operational efficiency improvements across its pest management operations. The company announced a 275% increase in net profit, reflecting the impact of its AI-enabled operating model and technology-driven service transformation. Total comprehensive income increased to Rs. 32.35 million, marking a successful turnaround from a net loss of Rs. 11.83 million in FY 2024–25 to a net profit of Rs. 20.67 million in FY 2025–26. Although year-on-year revenue growth remained modest, gross profit expanded by 20% due to enhanced operational efficiencies and margin improvements. The company attributes this turnaround to its strategic investment in AI-powered systems, predictive analytics, intelligent scheduling, and digital field operations. These technologies are designed to improve customer service, reduce operational waste, and strengthen preventive pest management capabilities.

Commenting on the company’s transformation journey, Marlon Ferreira, Founder and Managing Director of Exterminators PLC, said that AI is shaping the future of pest management. He noted that the company is using artificial intelligence to strengthen service quality, improve operational efficiency, and support better decision-making across the environmental management sector. By applying machine learning and deep learning algorithms, Exterminators PLC can identify pest behaviour patterns earlier, forecast potential surges, and optimise technician deployment routes. This more proactive approach helps reduce infestation risks, improve response times, and minimise chemical use in line with sustainability goals. He added that, as the company advances further into the fourth industrial revolution, it remains committed to responsible AI innovation that balances people, planet, and profit while creating long-term sustainable value for stakeholders. Exterminators PLC is reshaping pest control through an integrated, AI-driven ecosystem that combines smart detection, automated reporting, and operational optimisation. Together, these technologies enhance service accuracy, strengthen prevention, and improve responsiveness in the field.

·        Smart Missile 3G: An IoT-based termite detection system that supports early detection, improves audit accuracy, and reduces chemical use.

·        Sentro 3G Smart Bait Stations: Rodent-control stations that use QR technology for instant technician updates and seamless digital reporting.

·        AI-Powered Report Factory: An automated platform that generates intelligent risk-management audits and predictive insights from field data.

The company’s intelligent route optimisation and scheduling systems further improve workforce efficiency by factoring in technician shifts, traffic, holidays, work schedules, and routing constraints. This helps reduce fuel consumption while improving customer responsiveness. Exterminators PLC remains focused on advancing sustainable environmental solutions through AI-enabled preventive pest management technologies that support public health, operational sustainability, and better customer outcomes across Sri Lanka and beyond. The company has also received 71 awards for business excellence and holds internationally recognised certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 22000.
