DMASL and London International Awards Continue Partnership to Elevate Sri Lankan Creativity on the Global Stage

The Digital Marketing Association of Sri Lanka (DMASL) is proud to announce the continuation of its partnership with the London International Awards (LIA), reaffirming a shared commitment to nurturing creative excellence, fostering global exposure, and creating meaningful opportunities for Sri Lanka's advertising, marketing, and creative community.

Following a successful collaboration in 2025, the renewed partnership aims to further strengthen Sri Lanka's presence within the global creative landscape while providing local professionals with greater access to international recognition, learning opportunities, and industry-leading networks.

Established in 1986, the London International Awards is one of the world's most respected award platforms, and is one of only five global shows included in the WARC Creative 100, celebrating excellence across advertising, design, digital, production, technology, creativity, and branded communications. Known for its commitment to recognising outstanding creative work, LIA continues to serve as a benchmark for excellence within the global industry.

As part of the continued partnership, Sri Lankan agencies, brands, creators, and independent professionals will once again gain access to opportunities that extend beyond awards and recognition, helping bridge local talent with the international creative community. DMASL also encourages agencies, marketing teams, brands, creators, and independent professionals across Sri Lanka to actively submit their best work for international award consideration. Participating in globally recognised platforms such as LIA not only provides an opportunity for recognition but also helps benchmark local work against international standards, showcase Sri Lankan creativity to the world, and inspire the industry to continue raising the bar for excellence.

A key highlight of the continued partnership is the return of Creative LIAisons, LIA's exclusive mentorship programme that provides emerging talent with access to one-on-one coaching and guidance from globally recognised industry leaders.

Following the successful participation of Oken Sila and Amshini Herath in the programme last year, Sri Lankan young professionals will once again have the opportunity to be nominated through DMASL for this unique mentorship experience. Designed to accelerate professional growth and creative confidence, the programme connects rising talent with some of the industry's most respected creative minds through personalised coaching sessions tailored to their individual aspirations and career journeys.

Commenting on the continued partnership, Arjun Jeger, President of DMASL, said:

"Our continued partnership with LIA reflects DMASL's commitment to creating global opportunities for Sri Lanka's creative community. Beyond recognition, this collaboration provides access to learning, mentorship, and international benchmarks that help our industry grow and compete on a world stage. We are excited to build on the momentum from last year and create even greater impact in 2026."

Laurissa Levy, Creative LIAisons Director at LIA, added:

"We are delighted to continue our partnership with DMASL and support the growth of Sri Lanka's creative community. Over the past year, we have seen genuine enthusiasm from the market, and we look forward to creating even more opportunities for learning, mentorship, and global recognition through our programmes and awards. We also encourage agencies, brands, creators, and independent professionals across Sri Lanka to showcase their best work on the global stage through LIA, as international recognition not only celebrates creative excellence but also helps elevate the profile of the country's creative industry as a whole."

The partnership also brings continued benefits to Sri Lankan entrants, including a special 35% entry discount for the 2026 awards season, making participation more accessible for agencies, brands, creators, and independent professionals looking to showcase their work on an international stage.

As Sri Lanka's digital and creative industries continue to evolve, partnerships such as this play an important role in connecting local talent with global opportunities, fostering creative ambition, and inspiring the next generation of industry leaders to think beyond borders.

Through collaborations such as LIA, DMASL remains committed to creating pathways that enable Sri Lankan talent to learn, compete, and gain recognition at the highest levels of the global creative industry.
