47The British School in Colombo (BSC) secured 18 medals at the 36th annual All-Island Itosuryu Karate Do Championship 2026 held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium in Colombo.
Over 1,100 karatekas participated in this tournament and the BSC team, trained by Sensei Richard, made their presence by winning nine gold medals, three silver medals and six bronze medals.
The medal winners of the BSC Karate Team included Dehan, Vidushi, Adrien, Dinuth, Leo, Marta, Amanda, Nisala, Ramika, Yadurshayan, Sashan, Thidunya and Manisha.
