AB Mauri Sri Lanka, a provider of yeast and bakery ingredients, has commissioned a state-of-the-art icing sugar grinding plant in Sri Lanka.
Equipped with cutting-edge European technology, the facility is designed to enhance operational efficiency, ensure product quality, and meet the growing demand for high-quality icing sugar. The plant features explosion-proof equipment and rigorous environmental controls, safeguarding both the workforce and the surrounding community.
The icing sugar production takes place in a fully compliant, temperature-controlled environment. This controlled atmosphere maintains consistent product quality, meeting the stringent requirements of AB Mauri Sri Lanka’s clients. The new plant significantly boosts AB Mauri Sri Lanka’s production capacity, enabling the company to meet the growing demand for quality icing sugar. This increased output will support the company’s expansion plans and strengthen its position as a preferred supplier to dairy, bakery, confectionery, and dessert businesses.
The icing sugar grinding plant was opened by the British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Andrew Patrick.
The increased production capacity from the new plant will enable the company to confidently meet the demands of this contract and explore new opportunities for long-term partnerships with established brands in the food industry.
