Sri Lanka out to create history against Cambodia

Sri Lanka will play their heart out when they take on Cambodia in the second leg of the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers 2027 scheduled to kick off today at Phnom Penh, Stadium.

The goalless draw in the first leg means this is a tie that could go either way.

Cambodia, however, will be counting on home ground advantage to take them through, but Sri Lanka will have their own plans, setting the stage for a thrilling encounter.

Under the leadership of interim head coach Abdulla Almutairi, Sri Lanka boasts a formidable lineup featuring key players such as Captain Sujan Perera, Harsha Fernando, Mohamed Aakib, Mohamed Hasmeer, Mohamed Aman, Bharath Suresh, Jude Supun, Mohamed Rifkhan, and Kaveesh Fernando, all of whom are local talents.
