27SLT‑MOBITEL Nebula Institute of Technology, the educational arm of SLT-MOBITEL, recently participated in the EDEX Mid‑Year Expo 2026, held at the BMICH. Recognised as one of Sri Lanka’s premier higher education exhibitions, EDEX invited prospective students, parents, and industry professionals seeking pathways to academic and career success.
‘Discover the Future of Education’ was the key message Nebula Institute brought to EDEX 2026, enacting its role as a trusted gateway to globally recognised qualifications, career pathways, and digital innovation.
Moreover, the Expo provided a platform for Nebula Institute to highlight its unique value propositions in a manner which resonated with prospective students and parents. Presenting the ideal opportunity for interested parents and students to explore career pathways and engage directly with education specialists, visitors were invited to discover industrial training opportunities available directly through SLT‑MOBITEL, ensuring practical exposure alongside academic study.

Through Nebula Institute, students have access to internationally recognised qualifications, including honours degree programmes with direct affiliation of the University of Hertfordshire (UK). At the EDEX Mid-Year Expo, SLT‑MOBITEL Nebula Institute highlighted its diverse range of academic programmes, including the BEng (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, BEng (Hons) in Robotic & Artificial Intelligence, and the BSc (Hons) in Data Science.
Top-up degrees from the London South Bank University including the BSc (Hons) in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence), BSc (Hons) in Computer Science (Cyber Security), and BSc (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering are also available through Nebula Institute.
Pearson qualifications include the BTEC Level 5 HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, BTEC Level 5 HND in Digital Technologies, BTEC Level 5 HND in Computing, and the BTEC International Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Engineering. In addition, the Certificate in Applied Information Technology and the NVQ Level 4 Telecommunication Technician, Optical Fiber Courses, Network Security Courses, CompTIA Security + (SYO – 601) may be obtained from Nebula Institute.
