SLB conducts Line Judges’ course

Sri Lanka Badminton conducted a line judging course to provide technical knowledge of badminton to the under 13 Colombo district training squads which consisted of Colombo South / Colombo North / Colombo East / Colombo Central juniors operating under the Regional Development Committee.

This judging course was held at Sri Lanka Badminton Auditorium recently and juniors had good knowledge from this course said Senior Vice President of SLB Roshan Gunawardena who is the chairman of the Regional Badminton Committee. This is a valuable opportunity for the players as they are often only updated with the knowledge of the coaches’ physical and playing techniques and the referees’ decisions and rules are not updated.

He said that we will try to provide this course to the rest of the areas in the future. This course was organised by Sri Lanka Badminton Association President Rohan De Silva and SLB Secretary Ajith Wijayasinghe with the participation of senior SLB officials.
