Mirissa MMV enters School Cricket with a first-innings win

New entrants to the school cricket arena, Mirissa Madya Maha Vidyalaya, registered a first-innings win in their very first game in the Under-13 Division 3 cricket tournament against Leeds International College Matara, played at the Mirissa MMV ground recently.

The initiative to introduce Cricket to Mirissa MMV was taken by Principal Gihan Edirisinghe and the team is coached by former Rahula College cricketer, Rohan Ariyathilaka. Sameera Hewagama has been entrusted the duties of Master in charge of cricket.
