In a significant initiative to help businesses focus on their core operations while managing cybersecurity, H One has successfully implemented a comprehensive managed security solution for the Ceylon Biscuits Limited (CBL) Group.
This robust service leverages Microsoft Sentinel, integrated with Microsoft 365 Defender and other Microsoft solutions, to provide unparalleled threat detection and incident response capabilities.
The collaboration between H One and CBL Group aims to fortify CBL’s cybersecurity defences. This includes comprehensive reviews of the entire IT infrastructure—datacenters, cloud environments, and physical security controls. Additionally, implementing asset valuation and patch management processes ensures timely updates and threat mitigation.
“We greatly appreciate the outstanding support given to us by the CBL team, which has enabled H One to deploy Microsoft Sentinel at CBL successfully. This achievement marks a significant milestone in hardening CBL’s cybersecurity posture. With this advanced solution, we have greatly enhanced the CBL team’s capability to detect and respond to threats in real-time, ensuring robust protection for their organization, “ said Venura Mendis, CEO of H One.
“H One’s support has been crucial in maintaining our software. Their team provided invaluable training to our IT and security operations teams, helping us uphold standards and stay ahead of potential threats,” said Keshan Dayaratne, Chief Information Officer, CBL.
The solution implemented by H One aggregates log data from across CBL’s IT infrastructure, including applications, networks, security devices, and host systems. By collecting and analysing this data, Microsoft Sentinel identifies security incidents and events, generating real-time alerts and detailed reports on potential threats.
The solution provides continuous monitoring and includes features such as proactive threat hunting, historical data analysis, forensic analysis, and the automation of SOAR tasks.
