Dentsu Grant Group reaffirmed its position as a leader in Sri Lanka’s advertising industry with an outstanding performance at Effie Awards Sri Lanka 2024, securing 15 awards—the highest tally for a single agency this year. 

This achievement underscores the agency’s commitment to marketing effectiveness, strategic creativity and deep consumer insight, driving tangible success for brands across multiple industries.

With one Gold, five Silver, seven Bronze and two Finalist awards, Dentsu Grant Group demonstrated its ability to create impactful campaigns that deliver real business results. The agency’s wins spanned key sectors, including construction, insurance, healthcare, FMCG, tourism and non-profit, showcasing its expertise in navigating complex consumer landscapes, crafting culturally relevant messaging and building brands that resonate across industries. This success highlights the agency’s ability to partner with businesses of all sizes—from multinational giants to local disruptors.

Dentsu Grant Group’s Effie-winning campaigns secured top honours in four major categories, reinforcing its reputation for purpose-driven, results-oriented work. 

‘And You Thought You Knew Sri Lanka’, a pro bono initiative in partnership with SLITO and THASL, redefined the country’s tourism appeal by enticing young Indian travellers to explore Sri Lanka’s hidden gems through digital storytelling and social engagement during a time when tourism numbers were dwindling. The El Toro Good News Calendar transformed discarded newspapers into sustainable calendars, spreading positivity while championing eco-friendly innovation. 

Meanwhile, Link Natural Fusion Fest broke new ground in youth marketing, healthcare and brand experience by seamlessly integrating herbal wellness into Sri Lanka’s gaming culture—proving that even legacy brands can evolve to connect with modern audiences in meaningful ways.
