Capital market: SEC warns public of Quantum AI Limited

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) has issued an official regulatory warning informing the public that Quantum AI Limited is not licensed, registered, or authorised by the SEC to operate in Sri Lanka.

The regulator clarified that Quantum AI Limited lacks authorisation to conduct securities trading, provide investment services, or carry out any other regulated capital market activities within the country.

In its public warning, the SEC strongly advised citizens not to deposit funds, invest, or engage in any trading or investment activities through Quantum AI Limited.

To prevent financial fraud, the SEC reminded the public to always verify an entity’s licensing status prior to investing, emphasising that investors should deal exclusively with SEC-authorised market intermediaries.
