Young Athletes dazzle at Sir John Tarbat C’ship

The 92nd Rizbury-sponsored Sir John Tarbat Senior Athletic Championship has officially begun, marking Sri Lanka’s largest school athletic event. Organised by the Sri Lanka Schools Athletic Association, this four-day championship kicked off with excitement as new meet records were established.

With over 4,500 athletes from nearly 350 schools competing across the Under-16, Under-18, and Under-20 age groups, the championship promises thrilling performances. Sponsored by CBL’s Ritzbury brand for the 12th consecutive year, the event will run until October 3, displaying the remarkable talent of Sri Lanka’s young athletes. (SJ)
