WIA Systems, a global professional services company known for its comprehensive ERP services and solutions, proudly supported CodeSprint 8, Sri Lanka’s premier startup competition, as the event’s Innovation Partner. Organised by SLIIT Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Student Branches, together with the support of IEEE Women in Engineering, CodeSprint 8 brought together aspiring innovators and entrepreneurs from various universities across the country.
Supporting CodeSprint 8 as its Innovation Partner demonstrates WIA Systems’ commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, while nurturing tech talent in Sri Lanka. Throughout the competition, WIA Systems provided continuous mentorship opportunities, and conducted workshops aimed at guiding participants during the prototype phase. A series of technical pitch sessions offered further crucial support, helping participants refine their ideas into viable solutions. The mentorship provided by WIA’s tech leads and senior software engineers equipped participants with practical skills and knowledge, preparing them to tackle real-world challenges and become future leaders in the tech industry.

Selected WIA tech leads and senior software engineers also served as mentors and judges during CodeSprint 8.
