Trident appointed as MSI commercial product distributor for Sri Lanka and Maldives

Trident Corporation, a country’s renowned IT distributor has been appointed as MSI commercial distributor in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. 

Trident will distribute MSI commercial products to authorised partners islandwide, empowering them to offer MSI’s latest technologies to both the government and private sector. 

To officially mark the commencement of this collaboration, over 150 partners attended an event, which was held at Hilton Residences Colombo recently. Attendees were leading system integrators and solution providers in the IT infrastructure sector in Sri Lanka.

MSI Inc., headquartered in Taiwan, operates in over 130 countries and is globally recognised as a leading technology company. They offer a wide range of products, including PC components, notebooks, desktops, displays, accessories and more. Trident will be distributing MSI’s commercial products, which include Cubi Mini PCs, desktops, all-in-one workstations, professional monitors and servers.

MSI Regional Manager for Desktops and Monitors Kevin Chung expressed confidence that Trident will successfully elevate the MSI brand within the government and corporate sectors through their partners. 

Country Manager Sanjaya Adipathy also highlighted that Trident’s strong reputation and extensive partner network will significantly contribute to increasing MSI’s market share throughout Sri Lanka.

Thakral Sri Lanka CEO Hilmey Niyas expressed his appreciation for the confidence MSI has shown in appointing Trident as the distributor for MSI commercial products. He further emphasised that, with over two decades of experience in the IT distribution, they remain confident in achieving the business growth objectives of both organisations.

Trident General Manager Hasalaka De Silva stated that it is an honour to be appointed as the MSI distributor in the commercial product category. This addition will further strengthen our product portfolio and enable us to better support our partner community with the latest technology, thereby becoming an integral part of the workforce transformation journey in Sri Lanka.
