Sri Lanka rupee closes weaker to dollar; bond yields steady

Sri Lanka’s rupee closed at 321.00/30 to the US dollar in the spot market on Wednesday, significantly weaker from 319.90/320.40 the previous day, dealers said, while bond yields broadly steady.

A bond maturing on 01.07.2028 closed at 9.70/75 percent, down from 9.75/85 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.10.2029 closed flat at 10.05/15 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.07.2030 closed at 10.18/23 percent, down from 10.20/25 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.06.2033 closed flat at 11.00/10 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.06.2034 closed at 11.25/35 percent, up from 11.25/30 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.06.2035 closed at 11.25/35 percent, up from 11.25/32 percent.
