Sri Lanka rupee closes weaker, bond yields steady

Sri Lanka’s rupee closed at 315.40/50 to the US dollar in the spot market Monday, from 315.30/40 the previous day, dealers said, while bond yields were broadly steady.

A bond maturing on 15.12.2026 closed flat at 8.30/40 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.09.2027 closed flat at 8.90/9.10 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.03.2028 closed at 9.45/60 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.12.2029 closed at 9.90/95 percent, down from 9.95/10.00 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.03.2030 closed at 9.90/10.00 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.03.2031 closed at 10.00/10 percent, down from 10.05/15 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.06.2033 closed at 10.95/11.05 percent, down from 11.00/10 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.06.2035 closed flat at 11.05/15 percent.
