Sri Lanka rupee closes weaker, bond yields lower

Sri Lanka’s rupee closed at 315.85/316.10 to the US dollar in the spot market Thursday, weaker from 315.55/65 the previous day, dealers said, while bond yields closed lower.

A bond maturing on 01.05.2027 closed at 8.75/85 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.07.2028 closed at 9.50/65 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.10.2029 closed at 9.90/95 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.07.2030 closed at 10.10/13 percent, down from 10.15/17 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.10.2032 closed at 10.60/80 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.06.2033 closed at 10.90/11.00 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.06.2034 closed at 11.05/12 percent, down from 11.12/17 percent.
