Sammanthurai Unity SC L/O Cricket Champs

Sammanthurai Unity Sports Club cricket team beat Addalaichenai Fina Sports Club cricket team in the final to emerge champions of the ‘Sinath Travels Night Champion Trophy-2025’ limited 05 over’s flood-lit softball cricket tournament conducted by Sinath Travels and Tours and played at Athaullah Public Play Grounds in the Akkaraipattu DS division recently.

Among the 48 prominent cricket teams from Ampara District participated in the tournament which was conducted in a knockout system, Sammanthurai Unity SC won the championship beating Addalaichenai Fina SC in the final.

Man of the Match was A. Hafrin and Man of the Series was A.B. Musafeer of the Sammanthurai Unity SC.

The winning team received a cash prize of Rs.50,000.00 and the runner-up team received a cash prize of Rs. 25,000.00 apart from the trophies and medals.
