As Sri Lanka cricket prepares for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, Moose Clothing Company, the official clothing partner of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), marked a major milestone with the launch of Sri Lanka’s official ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 jersey, alongside the unveiling of the Moose Fan App – a first-of-its-kind digital experience designed to bring fans closer to the national team than ever before.
The launch represented the continued evolution of the partnership between SLC and Moose, which began in 2023. Since then, Moose has been designing and manufacturing performance-driven kits for the Sri Lanka cricket team, focusing on comfort, durability, and on-field performance. As Sri Lanka prepares to co-host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, this collaboration enters a new phase, one that blends performance design, national pride, and fan participation on a global stage.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 jersey has been created as a fusion of modern performance and Sri Lanka’s world-class apparel heritage. The design is inspired by the construction of cotton single jersey fabric, digitally interpreted through a pattern of interlocking loops. This motif symbolises precision, strength, flexibility, and innovation—qualities that mirror both the Sri Lankan cricketing spirit and the country’s globally respected apparel industry.
Featuring Sri Lanka’s iconic bright yellow paired with deep blue accents, the jersey reflects energy, unity, and confidence. The modern name and numbering styles add a contemporary international finish, while distinctive blue piping on the shoulders pays homage to national identity. Engineered for elite performance, the jersey is made using lightweight, breathable fabric with side mesh panels to optimise airflow, ensuring comfort, durability, and peak performance across varying playing conditions.
Alongside the jersey launch, Moose introduced a groundbreaking fan engagement platform – the Moose Fan App. For the first time in Sri Lankan cricket history, fans are invited to become part of the jersey itself. Through the app, supporters can upload a selfie that is embedded into a digital mosaic, created using images of thousands of fans, forming a special Moose Fan Jersey.
Fans can then search for and locate their own image within the mosaic, transforming national support into a visible and personal statement. This experience bridges the physical and digital worlds in a seamless way. The Moose Fan Jersey features a printed QR code that, when scanned, takes fans directly to the digital mosaic, allowing them to connect the jersey they wear with their place inside it.
Beyond the mosaic feature, the Moose Fan App introduces a full fan engagement ecosystem designed to keep supporters connected before, during, and beyond the World Cup. The platform will serve as a central hub for exclusive content, interactive features, and fan-first experiences, reinforcing the idea that this is not just merchandise, but a shared journey. Every fan who participates becomes part of the story, making the Moose Fan Jersey a true collector’s item.
Moose Clothing Company CEO Hasib Omar said: “Sri Lanka cricket has always been about more than the game; it’s about who we are as a nation. With this new World Cup Jersey and the Moose Fan App, we want every Sri Lankan to feel part of that journey. This time, the jersey doesn’t just represent the team; it carries the faces and stories of the people who stand behind it. When our players take the field, they carry the pride of an entire nation, quite literally, on their backs.”
SLC CEO Ashley de Silva added: “We wish to congratulate Moose on the creation of the new jersey, and I am confident it will help carry the Sri Lankan brand to the world during the upcoming World Cup, while also enabling our fans to connect more closely with the team, the players, and the game.”
Replicas of Sri Lanka’s official ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 jersey are available at Moose Clothing stores in Colombo and Kandy, and online at www.mooseclothingcompany.com, with free delivery offered for online purchases. The Moose Fan Jersey will be available for pre-order exclusively through the Moose Fan App.
The Moose Fan App will be available for download on Google Play and iOS from 21 January.
As Sri Lanka looks ahead to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, this launch signals a new way of supporting the national team where fans don’t just wear the jersey but become part of it.
