MillenniumIT ESP Strengthens Regional Collaboration as Strategic Partner at APICTA EXCO 2025

MillenniumIT ESP, a leading provider of enterprise technology solutions, reaffirmed its regional leadership and commitment to digital transformation by serving as the exclusive Strategic Partner for the prestigious APICTA Executive Committee (EXCO) Meeting 2025, held from April 4th to 5th at the Hilton Colombo.

The Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) is an association of ICT communities nominated by member economies across the region, who come together in the spirit of collaboration to form a cooperative network. APICTA works to promote technology innovation and encourage the development of indigenous ICT solutions for the global market—primarily through its prestigious annual awards programme and strategic knowledge-sharing platforms such as the EXCO meeting.

Hosted by the Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS) and BCS Sri Lanka under the guidance of the Ministry of Digital Economy, the 2025 EXCO meeting brought together top decision-makers and ICT leaders from 17 Asia-Pacific economies. As a key driver of innovation and collaboration in the region, the event served as a high-impact platform for cross-border engagement and policy alignment, all in support of Sri Lanka’s goal to position itself as a leading ICT hub.

MillenniumIT ESP’s involvement in the event reflected its ongoing mission to drive digital transformation at both national and regional levels. With an expanding presence across ASEAN and beyond, the company continues to deliver comprehensive enterprise solutions to leading organisations in telecommunications, banking and financial services, government, healthcare, manufacturing, and more. From infrastructure platforms and cloud services to cybersecurity, software engineering, automation, and smart building technologies, MillenniumIT ESP supports clients across the full spectrum of digital transformation.

“We’re proud to have been a part of APICTA EXCO 2025 — a gathering that not only highlights the strength of regional collaboration but also inspires us to keep pushing boundaries. Events like this reaffirm our belief in the power of partnerships, shared knowledge, and collective innovation. As we look ahead, we remain committed to supporting platforms that shape the future of technology and open new possibilities for Sri Lanka and the wider Asia-Pacific region,” said Shevan Goonetilleke, Director/CEO of MillenniumIT ESP.

Also commenting on the success of the event, Fulvio Inserra, Chairman of the APICTA Executive Committee, stated:
“The APICTA EXCO 2025 in Colombo was a resounding success, and we are thrilled to see Sri Lanka stepping forward as a collaborative force in the Asia-Pacific tech ecosystem. It’s especially encouraging to witness private sector leaders like MillenniumIT ESP playing a proactive role in powering these regional initiatives. Their strategic partnership reflects the growing synergy between governments and industry—a dynamic that is vital for scaling innovation and impact across borders.”

Headquartered in Sri Lanka with operations in Bangladesh, Singapore, the UAE, and Australia, MillenniumIT ESP continues to scale its service delivery capabilities. The newly launched Global Service Delivery Centre at Port City Colombo now acts as a central hub to support regional and international clients, further strengthening the company’s role in enabling resilient, future-ready digital ecosystems. Having delivered over 2,000 projects and served more than 500 customers over the years, MillenniumIT ESP remains committed to helping enterprises navigate complex challenges and unlock new growth opportunities in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
