Macktikles and Multilac paints opens in Kenya

Creating a major landmark in the local tile industry, one of Sri Lanka’s largest tile manufacturers, Macktikles and Multilac paints, subsidies of the Macksons expanding their footprint overseas opening in Kenya yesterday.Macksons Group’s entry into Kenya is expected to bring a unique blend of quality products and services from Sri Lanka to Kenya and will also help to bring in FOREX to Sri Lanka, contributing to the local economy.Macksons Director Macksons Ashtaf Harees expressed sincere appreciation to the Sri Lankan High Commissioner Kana Kananathan for the invaluable support and assistance extended throughout the process of setting up their business operations in Kenya.

In a ceremony held at the Enterprise Road, Nairobi, Kenya yesterday Kananathan who was the Chief Guest expressed his delight in witnessing the expansion of Macksons Group, a prominent Sri Lankan entity, into the heart of Kenya. The event marked a significant step in strengthening the economic ties between the two nations.Kananathan commended Macksons Group for its vision and commitment to exploring new horizons.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Kenyan government and the business leaders. Kananathan expressed optimism for the success and positive impact of this venture on the bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Kenya.Macktikles and Multilac paints are also to set up a factory in Kanya soon.
