Hilton unveils festive experiences across Sri Lanka

Hilton Sri Lanka is set to welcome the holiday season with a vibrant array of festive experiences across its esteemed properties in Colombo, Yala and Weerawila.

Hilton Colombo began the festive season in style with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony on November 13.

The ceremony was attended by Manesh Fernando, Area General Manager of Hilton Sri Lanka and General Manager for Hilton Colombo. Embracing the theme ‘Home for Christmas’ Hilton Colombo’s dining establishments will host a vibrant lineup of holiday events, including festive choral performances, fine dining experiences and seasonal treats. The Christmas Day lunch on December 25, offers delights while the Christmas Day dinner will be from 7:00 pm to midnight.

Meanwhile, Café Kai will feature seasonal goodies, festive hampers and other treats, with delivery and store pick-up options.

Adding to the holiday ambiance, live performances will run from December 1. Guests could also enjoy a Festive High Tea at L.A.B from December 15-25, completing a holiday experience filled with music, fine dining, and seasonal cheer.

Meanwhile Hilton Colombo Residences from December 1-29 introduces ‘Hilton Holidays’, a series of festive experiences designed for families and business gatherings alike. At Flow, guests could enjoy a Festive Dinner Buffet on December 23 featuring free-flowing cocktails, mocktails and live entertainment. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, brings a special Dinner Buffet offering a glass of bubbly on arrival, free-flow cocktails and mocktails, and live entertainment, pool access with live entertainment.

For the evening, a Christmas Day Dinner Buffet will be with mulled wine on arrival and free-flowing cocktails and mocktails.

For those looking for seasonal treats and gifts, Basico Bar and Lounge will offer festive goodies and hampers from December 16 to January 5.

Meanwhile DoubleTree by Hilton Weerawila Rajawarna Resort invites families with a schedule packed themed ‘A Festive Escape,’ with holiday activities for all ages. Children could also look forward to Santa’s Workshop on December 24, Kids’ Movie Mania on December 25-29 and interactive games.

General events for all ages include a DJ Night on December 28, at Turnstone and a Karaoke Night on December 29. A Southern High Tea will be held on 27 and a Tree Planting activity on December 31.

The Grand Christmas Eve Gala at the Grand Rajawarna Ballroom on December 24 features live Christmas carols, a special visit from Santa with surprises and entertainment by ‘Rock the Beat’ alongside a DJ.

On Christmas Day, Spoonbill will offer an exciting day-out package, which features an exquisite international lunch buffet, complimentary access to the resort’s pristine pool and many more. Meanwhile Hilton Yala Resort offers guests an immersive festive experience amidst nature that includes Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas Day breakfast and special themed meals throughout the season. The cocktail hosted by the General Manager will be held on December 23 from 6:00 pm onwards at Sandali and a Wildlife Conservation Awareness Programme on December 25 evening. At Dhira, guests can enjoy a Christmas Eve Dinner on December 24 and breakfast as well and a Christmas Day Dinner.
