106A group of 18 Sri Lankans currently in Israel is scheduled to return to Sri Lanka today (19), according to Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Israel, Nimal Bandara.
Among the group, nine individuals have been deported from Israel due to violations of the country’s immigration laws.
In addition to those returning today, four more Sri Lankans are also departing Israel to head back home.
The ambassador mentioned that five other individuals have applied to return to Sri Lanka and are expected to travel via Cairo Airport, arriving in the country through Dubai.
