CBC Finance Ltd. a fully owned subsidiary of Sri Lanka’s largest private bank, the Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC, hosted its Annual Staff Conference recently, reflecting on the company’s remarkable transformation in 2024 and setting ambitious goals for 2025.
During the event, top performers were specially recognised and awarded for their outstanding contributions, celebrating their dedication and excellence.

The event, which brought together nearly 300 employees from all 18 CBCF branches across the island, served as a powerful platform to review the company’s performance for the past year and to set ambitious goals for the future.
Key attendees included Sharhan Muhseen Chairman, Chamilantha Fernando Managing Director and CEO, Krishantha Perera COO and Directors Sarath Jayasuriya, Hasrath Munasinghe, Sharmini Wickremasekera and Pushpakumara Dharmasiri along with Chamilantha Fernando Managing Director and CEO and Krishantha Perera, Chief Operating Officer, who are at the helm of the company’s visionary leadership.
A highlight of the event was the recognition of top performers, who were awarded for their exceptional contributions to the company’s success in 2024. Despite the challenges faced during the year, CBC Finance Ltd. recorded an impressive profit of Rs. 81 million, a testament to the resilience and determination of the company’s team under the guidance of Muhseen and Fernando.
Looking ahead, CBC Finance Ltd. is poised to continue its growth trajectory, with the aim of becoming Sri Lanka’s fastest-growing finance company in 2025.
