BrandRadar by Roar Global recently hosted Sri Lanka’s first AI Visibility Summit, bringing together senior marketers, corporate decision-makers, and industry leaders to examine how AI is reshaping brand discovery and recommendation.


The summit marked BrandRadar’s introduction to the Sri Lankan market and the unveiling of the Sri Lanka AI Visibility Index – a new national benchmark designed to measure how brands perform across AI-driven discovery platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and AI-powered search.


The Index evaluates how visible brands are when consumers ask high-intent category questions, measuring factors such as presence in AI-generated recommendations, citation authority, category-level dominance, and competitive positioning within generative search. Initial coverage spans key sectors including hospitality, banking, finance and insurance, automotive, real estate, retail, and e-commerce.

Opening the event, Mustafa Kassim, Founder and CEO of Roar Global, spoke on the growing shift from traditional search visibility to AI-led discovery, and why brands must adapt to remain competitive in the next era of digital growth.

The programme also featured a session on winning brand discovery in an AI-first world, the official launch of the Index and its methodology, and a cross-industry panel discussion with leaders from hospitality, e-commerce, and financial services and advertising on how Sri Lankan brands are already responding to AI-driven recommendation systems.
