BoardPAC Achieves Carbon Neutral Certification for the Fourth Consecutive Year, Reinforcing Global ESG Leadership
BoardPAC, the global leader in digital board meeting automation, has proudly secured the Carbon Neutral Certification for 2024, marking the fourth consecutive year the company has achieved this milestone. The certification, awarded by the Sri Lanka Climate Fund (SLCF) under the Ministry of Environment in October 2025, underscores BoardPAC’s commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible corporate governance.
BoardPAC’s operations, spanning over 40 countries, were assessed against the ISO 14064 – 1:2018 standard, and the company’s organization-level Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions were successfully offset, reflecting its ongoing commitment to reducing its environmental impact.
BoardPAC has long been a pioneer in transforming boardrooms into paperless, secure, and efficient environments. By digitizing board meetings for clients worldwide, including many of the world’s leading banks and corporations, the company helps boards significantly reduce paper consumption—a direct contribution to environmental conservation.
“Our mission goes beyond providing seamless board meeting solutions,” said Ms. Lakmini Wijesundera, Founder and CEO of BoardPAC. “By maintaining carbon neutrality ourselves, we lead by example, demonstrating that digital transformation and environmental stewardship can go hand in hand. This achievement is a reflection of our global operations, our team’s dedication, and the sustainable practices we instill in our clients’ boards every day.”
BoardPAC has implemented multiple initiatives to support sustainability, including remote working policies that reduce travel-related emissions, a paperless office environment, and a tree planting program in Colombo that contributes to urban reforestation. The company also runs a dedicated ESG team focused on minimizing waste across all offices, from food and plastic to paper.
Mr. K.R. Uduwawala, Secretary to the Ministry of Environment and Chairman of the Sri Lanka Climate Fund, remarked, “BoardPAC’s sustained commitment to carbon neutrality sets a powerful example for the corporate sector. Their actions highlight how technology companies can integrate ESG principles into their core operations, inspiring others to follow suit.”
This fourth consecutive certification is a testament to BoardPAC’s holistic approach to sustainability, demonstrating that leading-edge technology solutions can co-exist with responsible environmental practices. As the company continues to drive digital governance transformation, it remains committed to helping organizations worldwide run paperless, sustainable, and efficient board operations.
